The Joint Task force code-named ”Operation Delta Protected” on Thursday raided a suspected militants’ camp in Okosugbene alongside the Burutu/Warri in Burutu Native Authorities Space of Delta.
A supply advised newsmen in Warri that the navy personnel stormed the camp with two Fighter Jets and about eight Gunboats at about 6 a.m.
The camp was mentioned to be an deserted hideout utilized by the previous militant group, Motion for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta and now occupied by sea pirates.
The JTF had been stated to have acted on a tip-off on a raid that lasted for about an hour.
