The Rivers state Police Command, reportedly recovered N60 million out of the N100 million in a bullion van that went lacking on Friday on its way from Aba in Abia country to Rivers state.
The command said the money, which belonged to Zenith and Stanbic bank in the state was recovered on Monday after it become abandoned in a taxi inside the premises of a popular grocery store in GRA, Port Harcourt.
The bullion van, became declared missing on Friday, and a formal grievance became allegedly filed at Rivers kingdom Police Command, which cause an investigation.
Addressing pressmen the day before today in Port Harcourt, Deputy Police Commissioner, Mr. Uche Anozia, stated:
“On July 8, remaining Friday, we acquired a document by one Mr. Stanley Ndubuisi of Bankers Warehouse, approximately a lacking bullion van. It turned into rented by way of Zenith financial institution and Stanbic bank, right here in Port Harcourt to carry cash from Aba.
